Why aren't all destinations and packages available to book online?
Some of our more specialized packages require customization, which needs to be done by one of our professional travel agent partners or our Reservations Center. In addition, our reservationists are able to submit a request for special services such as handicap-accessible rooms. Please call a professional travel agent or our Reservations Center at 1-888-225-5658 to purchase these types of vacations.

You don't fly out of my city. What are my options?
If Worry-Free Vacations does not provide charter air service from your origin city, there are a few things you could do:

  1. If you live near one of our origin cities and would be willing to drive to that city for departure, check flight schedules for that city. For early departures, we offer Park and Stay & Park and Fly programs where you can receive discounted hotel rates and free parking.
  2. Purchase the land only portion of your vacation with Worry-Free Vacations. We provide hotels, car rental, and additional land services to all of our destinations throughout the year.

How do I get the best value for my vacation?

What does European Plan (EP) and All-Inclusive (AI) mean?
Many Mexican and Caribbean resorts offer a European Plan and/or an All-Inclusive plan.  A European Plan hotel rate does not include any meals or beverages. An All-Inclusive hotel rate includes all meals and beverages.  All-Inclusive plans vary, so please check the specific hotels for details.

How do I find passport, visa and health requirement information?
Domestic Travel:
All passengers 18 years of age or older are required to present one form of government-issued photo ID (such as a valid driver's license) or two forms of non-photo identification, one of which must be state or federal agency-issued (such as a U.S. Social Security card), before boarding a flight. Failure to present positive identification can result in denied boarding and no refunds will be granted.
International Travel:
Passport requirements have changed – government legislation now requires all people traveling via air to and from the United States or Canada to have a passport.  For complete details, see Entry Requirements.

How do I make a reservation?
If you already know what destination you'd like to go to and what hotel you'd like to stay at, go to the Book section, call us direct at 1-888-225-5658, or contact your travel agent. If you do not have a travel agent, use our travel agent locator to find a travel professional near you.

What are promotional codes and how do I use them?
Worry-Free Vacations creates promotional codes to reward you with a specific discount. You can find promotional codes in the Specials section of the web site or through specials via Worry-Free Vacations e-mails which highlight the newest and greatest Worry-Free Vacations values.

Are all taxes included in the price?

Taxes are not included in advertised prices but are included in prices quoted via our website or Reservations, with the exception of flights departing from select destinations the Caribbean. If you are traveling to one of these select destinations, the departure tax will need to be paid at the airport before you fly home. Departure tax amounts vary, but the specific amount you need to pay will be noted on your travel documents.

How do I reserve more than one room?
Currently, up to four hotel rooms can be reserved on one booking. If you need more than four rooms, they can be reserved by your professional travel agent or by calling the Worry-Free Vacations Reservations Center at
1-888-225-5658. If you prefer to purchase your vacation online, you can make separate bookings with up to four additional hotel rooms per booking.

How do I make a special room request?
Requests such as bed type, non-smoking rooms, cribs, and rollaways can be made during the reservation process. For more advanced requests or handicap-accessible rooms, please contact your travel agent or the Worry-Free Vacations Reservations Center at 1-888-225-5658.

Can I reserve my airline seat in advance?
Yes. Assigned seats are available for purchase on select flights.

Is it safe to book a vacation via the Internet?

Totally and completely. When you sign in to make a reservation, all your transactions are protected by powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology and site verification provided by COMODO and the UserTrust Network. SSL encrypts your credit card number, name, address, and phone number before they travel over the Internet. This makes doing business with us over the Internet as secure as purchasing by phone.

However, we understand that each person has their own level of comfort when it comes to making a purchase via the Internet, and for that reason, you may also call our Reservations Center at 1-888-225-5658 or your professional travel agent.

What types of payment options are available?
If your reservation is for travel outside 45 days, payment may be applied as a deposit and a final payment. All payment information is required at the time of reservation, however, only the deposit will be charged upon confirmation of reservation; final payment will then be charged 45 days prior to departure. if your reservation is for travel within 45 days, full payment is required at the time the reservation is confirmed.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards as form of online payment. You can use either American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or Diners Club including Carte Blanche and Montage. Other accepted forms of payment are Worry-Free Vacations gift cards and Worry-Free Vacations-issued travel certificates.

Why should I purchase the Travel Protection Plan or the Travel Protection Plan PLUS?
We highly recommend purchasing our Travel Protection Plan, as it protects you and your travel investment before and during your vacation. With the Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver benefit available with the Plan, you can cancel your trip up to the moment of your scheduled departure for any reason and have your travel investment protected. Plus, with its new Job Loss Protection, the Travel Protection Plan allows you to cancel your reservation due to job loss and to receive cash back.

The Travel Protection Plan also has a hurricane policy that refunds the cost of your vacation and protects you from most cancellation penalties if your destination is under a hurricane, watch or warning, as declared by the National Hurricane Center (NHC). You can cancel your vacation up to the moment of departure and receive a full refund — including the cost of the Travel Protection Plan. Contact the Group Department for details on hurricane coverage for large groups.

In addition, we also offer Travel Protection Plan PLUS, which includes all the benefits of the Travel Protection, plus a lowest price guarantee.

Either Plan must be purchased within seven (7) days of initial deposit.

How do I make a group reservation though Worry-Free Vacations?
Our Group Department specializes in customized travel planning for groups of 20 or more. There are many advantages to arranging your group travel through our trained group reservations staff and it's possible to get your air, hotel, and tour options planned in just one phone call. Contact our Group Department directly at 1-800-727-1111 prompt #4, between 8a.m. – 6p.m.Central Time, Monday - Friday, to plan your group vacation.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we offer Gift Cards in a variety of dollar amounts and they can be purchased online. If you have several gift cards, they may be redeemed towards a single purchase. If you not sure of the balance on your gift card, you are able to check the balance of your card online.

How do I modify my reservation?
The following fields can be modified:

  • Frequent flyer program and membership number
  • Passport information
  • Emergency contact information

To modify a reservation, go to My Reservations. Enter the lead traveler's last name and one of the following: booking number, e-mail address, or frequent flyer number. If you are having problems modifying your reservation, call Worry-Free Vacations at 1-888-225-5658 or contact your travel agent.

How do I cancel my reservation?
To cancel a reservation, go to My Reservations. Enter the lead traveler's last name and one of the following: booking number, e-mail address, or frequent flyer number. Click the Cancel button at the bottom of your itinerary. Cancel fees may apply and are outlined in the cancel fee section of your itinerary. If you are having problems, call Worry-Free Vacations at 1-888-225-5658 or contact your travel agent.

Where and how do I get my confirmation and travel documents?
If you have made a reservation online, confirmation will be provided online and sent to the e-mail address provided in your profile. Your confirmation will include:

  • The itinerary and a listing of all items you have purchased.
  • The booking number.
  • A toll-free number to call with any questions regarding your reservation.

E-documents are available for all destinations. Certain options do require paper documents to be mailed or express mailed. If you have selected e-documents as a form of delivery method for a reservation and qualify for e-documents the document is emailed within 12-48 hours.

For options that do not qualify for e-documents and a reservation was made 4 days or more before departure, travel documents will be mailed the next business day via first-class mail. For bookings that include airfare and are made within 4 days of departure, documents can be picked up at the airport or sent via an overnight express mail service and the amount for express delivery will be included in your booking. For bookings without airfare that are made within 4 days of departure, the amount for express delivery will be included in your booking.

What if there is a problem while on vacation?
In the travel documents, you will be provided a toll-free number that will connect you to our Destination Help Center. This call center is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to assist you with any problem that may arise.

What happens if there is a hurricane?
Worry-Free Vacations covers you in the event that a hurricane threat affects your departure city or your vacation destination. See our hurricane travel policy for more information.

How do I subscribe to receive promotional e-mails?
Simply visit the E-mail Sign-up area of the site, fill in the requested information and submit. You should start receiving our weekly e-mail within a week. We only send e-mail specials to those who have requested them and do not sell e-mail addresses to third parties.

How do I find out about specials?
There are three ways to find out about specials offered by Worry-Free Vacations. The first is to visit our Specials section, featuring offers and promotions. The second way is to sign-up to receive our e-mails which highlight the newest and greatest Worry-Free Vacations values. The third way is to subscribe to Worry-Free Vacations RSS feeds.

What is the difference between a charter flight and a scheduled flight?
Charter flights are scheduled on set patterns for departure and return, and are typically used by vacationers. These flights may only fly on certain days of the week. Scheduled flights operate according to a scheduled and published timetable.

Is it possible to earn frequent flyer miles?
Some of our charter flights are serviced by Northwest Airlines®. When traveling on these flights, you will earn credited Northwest Airlines WorldPerks® miles equal to the miles flown. On all other charter flights, no frequent flyer miles are awarded.

My flight is serviced by Northwest Airlines, what online services are available to me?
The following services are available for all Worry-Free Vacations flights that are serviced by Northwest Airlines:

  • Northwest Airlines Wireless Services
    Northwest Airlines has customized its website for handheld computers and wireless browsers to give you the travel information you need, when you need it!
  • E-Service Center
    Northwest Airlines is pleased to offer our E-Ticket passengers two easy ways to check in for a flight:
    1. Check in online with nwa.com Check-In, print your boarding pass from your home or office and head for the gate. Northwest E-Ticket customers may check in for their flight between 36 hours and 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. To check in now go to nwa.com Check-In.
    2. Check in at Northwest Airlines or Continental Airlines E-Service Centers, available in most airports, and obtain your boarding pass in less than a minute. For locations and more go to E-Service Centers.SM
  • Flight and Gate Status Notification Request
    Request notification of a flight arrival or departure and an e-mail will be sent to your alphanumeric pager, PCS phone or email inbox. The message will contain current departure or arrival time and gate information. You can be notified one to four hours prior to the estimated departure or arrival time.
  • Flight and Gate Status
    You can use this easy form to find out current arrival or departure information for any Northwest Airlines or Northwest-designated affiliate partner's flight.
